  • VIP Smartsearch is a framework that supports search within VIP reference documents using query in natural language. It facilitates reordering of search results and keeps record of user’s decision for the ordering of result display and applies that in search of same query on subsequent usage.

  • How to download VIP smartsearch?

    1. Get VIP Smartsearch (Available as a seperate run file).
    2. Set environment variable 
      DESIGNWARE_HOME
      to required designware home location where VIP Smartsearch should be downloaded.
    3. Run 
      vip_smartsearch_<version>.run
      file.
      VIP Smartsearch will be downloaded to the location 
      $DESIGNWARE_HOME/vip/svt/vip_smartsearch/<version>

  • How to install VIP Smartsearch?

    Please refer to the file 
    VIP_Smartsearch_installation_and_usage_guide.pdf
    in 
    $DESIGNWARE_HOME/vip/svt/vip_smartsearch/<version>
    for installation steps.

AMBA SVT UVM Documentation - Configuration Class List

Here are the Configuration classes with brief descriptions:
svt_amba_system_monitor_configuration Description-Unavailable
svt_amba_system_configuration AMBA System configuration class contains handles of AXI, AHB and APB system configuration handles.
svt_chi_interconnect_configuration AMBA CHI Interconnect Configuration
svt_chi_node_configuration This class contains AMBA CHI Node Configuration. This class acts as a base class for RN and SN node configuration, and contains fields required by both the RN & SN node configurations.
svt_chi_address_configuration This class contains address map configuration for CHI System. The address map for entire CHI system can be specified through this class. The snoop domains can also be specified through this class.
svt_chi_system_configuration AMBA CHI System Configuration
svt_axi_interconnect_configuration Interconnect configuration class contains configuration information for the interconnect component. It has a handle to the system configuration. In addition, this class contains configuration for number of master and slave ports of the interconnect component, and the respective configuration for these master & slave ports.
svt_axi_lp_port_configuration Port configuration class contains configuration information which is applicable to individual AXI low power master interface in the system. Some of the important information provided by port configuration class is:
  • Active/Passive mode of the low power component
  • Enable/disable protocol checks
  • Port configuration contains the virtual interface for the port
svt_axi_port_configuration Port configuration class contains configuration information which is applicable to individual AXI master or slave components in the system component. Some of the important information provided by port configuration class is:
  • Active/Passive mode of the master/slave component
  • Enable/disable protocol checks
  • Enable/disable port level coverage
  • Interface type (AXI3/AXI4/AXI4 Lite/AXI_ACE)
  • Port configuration contains the virtual interface for the port
svt_axi_system_configuration System configuration class contains configuration information which is applicable across the entire AXI system. User can specify the system level configuration parameters through this class. User needs to provide the system configuration to the system subenv from the environment or the testcase. The system configuration mainly specifies:
  • number of master & slave components in the system component
  • port configurations for master and slave components
  • virtual top level AXI interface
  • address map
  • timeout values
svt_ahb_bus_configuration The base configuration class contains configuration information which is applicable to SVT AHB bus ENV. Some of the important information provided by bus configuration class is:
  • Number of bus masters
  • Number of bus slaves
  • Address width of the bus ENV
  • Data width of the bus ENV
  • The AHB virtual interface
svt_ahb_slave_configuration Slave configuration class contains configuration information which is applicable to individual AHB slave components in the system component.
svt_ahb_master_configuration Master configuration class contains configuration information which is applicable to individual AHB master components in the system component.
svt_ahb_configuration The base configuration class contains configuration information which is applicable to individual AHB master or slave components in the system component. Some of the important information provided by port configuration class is:
  • Active/Passive mode of the master/slave component
  • Enable/disable protocol checks
  • Enable/disable port level coverage
  • Interface type (AHB/AHB_LITE)
  • The virtual interface for the port
Note: Custom manager and surbodinate agent naming is supported through svt_configuration :: inst attribute.
svt_ahb_system_configuration System configuration class contains configuration information about the entire AHB system
svt_apb_slave_configuration Slave configuration class contains configuration information which is applicable to individual APB slave components in the system component. Some of the important information provided by port configuration class is:
  • Active/Passive mode of the slave component
  • Enable/disable protocol checks
  • Enable/disable port level coverage
  • Virtual interface for the slave
svt_apb_system_configuration System configuration class contains configuration information about the entire APB bus. This configuration is used by the master component.
  • Active/Passive mode of the slave component
  • Enable/disable protocol checks
  • Enable/disable port level coverage
  • The virtual interface for the system
Note: Custom APB manager agent naming is supported through svt_apb_system_configuration :: master_inst attribute.
svt_apb_configuration This class serves as the base class for APB configuration objects. Properties that are common to system configuration and slave configuration such as is_active are present in this class. Some of the important information provided by port configuration class is:
  • Active/Passive mode of the slave component
  • Enable/disable protocol checks
  • Enable/disable coverage
Note: Custom surbodinate agent naming is supported through svt_configuration :: inst attribute.
svt_amba_fifo_rate_control_configuration This FIFO rate control configuration class encapsulates the configuration information for the rate control parameters modeled in a FIFO.
